Mechatronics
This field of study equips trainees with the skills needed to work within a multidisciplinary engineering/technology field that deals with the study of electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, tele-communications, computer engineering, system engineering and control engineering.
It also emphasises the design of electro-mechanical devices ranging from large-scale automated manufacturing systems to micro-scale sensors and instrumentation.
Please Note:
Training is conducted over four years, 1st – 3rd year is six months in the Institute and six months in Industry (job attachment position).
4th Year - 10 months in industry and two months in the Institute for trade test preparation.

Minimum Admission requirements:
At least 18 years’ of age
At least a Grade 11/12 Certificate with a pass in Mathematics, Computer Science and English
Pass a full medical examination.
Must be available for block release every two months Any other requirements asked for by AfriSay VTC

23 years’ of age
Write a Mathematics (Basic Numeracy) and English Proficiency entrance test
Minimum 3 years work experience in related field.
Minimum Admission requirements for Upskilling:
Minimum 3 years work experience in related field. Proof of work experience/testimonials prerequisite
English Literate
Must be employed to enable trainee to complete necessary tasks before entering next level.
Must be available for block time for face2face training.
